This small pier now falling into disrepair has a long standing history and has given hours of pleasure to children fishing for wrasse from its pylons, and tourists. Unfortunately the local council seem to have neglected it. This pier hold dear many memories of the sixties sun, fun, boat trips, girls, ice cream, fishing.
It would be nice to see the formation of an organisation formed to save this small icon of Portsmouth’s History from becoming a distant memory.
